The day of patrick

So everyone knows you have to wear green on St. Patrick's day. I usually hold to this traddition and i hardly ever forget. Today, however, i completely forgot. Luckily i happened to put on a green shirt so i was able to avoid the endless pinches. I hate when people try to get by on this day. I would like to discuss the rules that i have come to discover about green on st patrick's day.
1. The person must have green on them or else you have freedom to pinch them
2. It must be an article of clothing.
3. It cannot be something that was obviouly added to their wadrobe after leaving the house. Examples include drawing on hand, taping a piece of paper, wearing beads that someone else shared with you
4. The article of clothing must be the shirt unless it is obvious that the person wore a green thing sipmply because of the date. You can't have a piece of green on your shoes or a sliver of green on the lable of your boxers
5. If the shirt is striped and green is included in the stripes and it has less 5 different color stripes it is ok.
6.If the shirt has 4 or more stripes the green must be the biggest or be at least 4 inch in depth
7.If you try to pull off something like a green marker mark on your hand you can be pinched twice.
These steps will help you stay pinch free

Whew! Fortunately I met #6 on the clothing criteria. Of course Adam and Noah, having to wear non-green school uniforms, did have to resort to the green marker on the hand tactic. If only I had known I could pinch them twice!! There's always next year.
