Complete

The Uhigh-JV soccer season is now over. Yes this is a very sad day. We completed our season by playing the uhigh freshman team. the freshman team is very good, they've been one of the only teams who is able to beat us throughout the year and this was a big game. The final score was 2-1 with the cubs winning.
I hate when people complain about referee's but i feel justified with this. The first goal was scored by the Freshman by a blown tackle by a player who hadn't been in a game all season. The second goal was on a corner kick. A freshman player elbowed the goalie in the face while going up for it and yet the ref seemed to be looking away. Even the player who did this admitted to it. In soccer there is something known as "letting the play resume" if a foul is committed on a team that has a chance of a shot despite the foul the referee must all play to continue until the opportunity is complete. After this the free kick is from where the foul was committed. The freshman team fouled one of our a foot outside of the box as he passed the ball. The ball was then one timed into the goal for the third goal of the evening and yet the ref insited on taking the free kick instead. The third goal was scored by the JV team with 5 min left (not much in soccer) The starters were never put back in. With 4 min back the ball was served into the box and the same player who elbowed the keeper elbowed a potential shooter in the back of the neck, onto the ground. With no surprise to me no kick was allowed. In the game two jv players got yellow cards, Eric Landry and Spanky. Both were bogus.
